Fortune 500 executive and private company entrepreneur with over twenty years of experience growing and operating B2B service organizations within the integrated facility, infrastructure and mobility solutions industries. Brant currently serves as an advisor and operating partner to facility and business services firms.
Brant is most recently the Head of New Business Ventures and SVP with the Strategy & Transformation organization at ABM Industries, a provider of facilities management solutions with $8B in annual revenues and 100K+ employees. He oversaw multiple strategic enterprise initiatives with the goal of diversifying the company’s revenue stream and boosting profitability. Developing new business ventures, establishing a venture capital unit, and advancing strategic alliances that enabled over $1B in revenue streams were key responsibilities.
As a leader within ABM’s Strategy & Transformation function, Brant established and operated ABM Ventures, ABM’s first dedicated venture capital unit, to support ABM’s near-term emerging offerings and expand ABM’s innovation pipeline. Additionally, Brant developed a market opportunity to launch a new business venture, obtained $100M+ in capital investment, and structured a joint venture to launch a last-yard logistics marketplace projected to attain $400M+ in sales.
He also served as interim leader of the Integration Management Office (IMO) following the $1B acquisition of Able Engineering (facility engineering), RavenVolt (microgrid solutions) and Momentum Support (facility services). Leading cross-functional teams to define the integration roadmap, change management, and overall integration execution were key responsibilities of this role.
As President of the Technology & Manufacturing Industry Group at ABM Industries, Brant spearheaded the post-merger integration following the $1.25B acquisition of GCA Services to launch a new division focused on tech, industrial, and manufacturing clients while leading up to 21K employees. This was a multi-year transformation to establish an integrated operating model for a newly formed $1B reportable segment within ABM.
In addition to his titled roles at ABM, Brant also contributed to organizational strategy as a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) as well as active leadership on ABM’s Brand Council, Product Governance Council, and Culture & Inclusion Council.
Brant was previously the Senior Vice President and GM of Commercial Facility Services at GCA Services Group, a national provider of facility services for the education and commercial industries with $1.3B in annual revenues. In this position, he led the Commercial Division serving 600 clients with 1.2K locations and 12K employees. As a member of the core leadership team, he played a key role restoring year-over-year organic growth and delivering the sale of the company to ABM Industries for $1.25B.
In prior management roles with GCA, Brant launched and led GCA’s strategic account program, launched multiple new self-perform service lines totaling $200M+ in organic growth, and delivered 10 years of double-digit organic P&L growth.
Brant holds a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, a Certified Facility Management Professional (FMP), a Certified Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP) and a Certified Post Merger Integration Expert (CPMI).
